There are funny elements to this film but it also raises the question about self esteem, ethnic pride and respect for African Caribbean - American womanhood. I think as a culture of people if we were okay with ourselves i.e. skincolor hair texture and many other elements that make people of color uniquely us! When Andre said they want to swing their hair like...then a photo of Farrah shows up made me immediately think, well if Brothas were settled in loving us they would be okay with our hair as is but since there is always constant grumbling about black women and our looks and their prefrence for women other than us we then begin the campagin of "Good Hair/Bad Hair".

What do you think about that?
