Loving Her Look: Mary J. Blige Sizzles in Cool White

Last night the music superstar showed which side of the white after Labor Day debate she’s on. Hey naysayers, you just might change your mind.

Blige, one of the stars of Tyler Perry’s new movie I Can Do Bad All By Myself, wore this chic bold-shoulder, suit-like dress to last night’s premiere. It’s sleek and sexy and everything the shoulder-padded, lace-appliqué white suit I wore to eighth-grade graduation could never be. Alas, there are no red carpets in my near future, so I think I’ll pick up a cool ivory jacket and wear it over all-black stuff (black pencil skirt and tee for a meeting; black leggings and sexy cami for going out).
