I'm so pleased you have joined Urban Beauty Collective!
This site was created as a home for hair artists, make-up artists, wardrobe stylists of color and all urban style professionals who strive to make the world more beautiful - one person at a time.
We are all kings and queens, and our hair is our crown. We need to walk in the world as the royalty that we are. Stylists and barbers make this possible on a deep and unconscious level that goes beyond what clients see in the mirror. This is also true for make-up artists, estheticians, wardrobe stylists, nail technicians, masseuses, nutritionists, fitness trainers and anyone who calls beauty their business. The work that you do is more important than many realize.
So, thank you for joining your fellow artists from around the country to share ideas, advice and encouragement. As independent business owners, we need to stick together and help one another advance. As people of color, we must lean on one another to grow strong. Let's grow together.
