TOO SHORT ARRESTED FOR BATTERY

Too Short got to rock the platinum wrist cuffs in Boise, Idaho due to accusations that he tried to give three club bouncers an a** whoopin’.

Word is, Too Short and another cat are allegedly punched, kicked and pushed three security guards at a concert venue after they allegedly tried to stop him from bringing “underage females (under 21) backstage and into his dressing room.”

Now, Short ain’t no new jack so he should definitely know the rules of groupie engagement before he ends up with a case like Pac or Mystikal.

Short Dawg was arrested and booked for three misdemeanor counts of battery, while the other man was hit with two counts of battery.

Short has since bailed out of jail but you know the saga will continue.

NICKI MINAJ DEBUT ALBUM IN NOVEMBER

The microphone femme fatale of the hour, Nicki Minaj has finally announced an official release date for her debut album. Young Money's First Lady made the long-awaited announcement via Twitter, "Yes. It's time. November 23."

Nicki is all over radio & has been featured on several hit songs with artists including Usher, Dirty Money, Luda & Mariah Carey, but she recently scored her first #1 joint, with 'Your Love.' The song topped the Billboard Rap Songs list, making it the first single by a female rapper, without a feature to snag the number one spot since my girl Missy Elliot’s 'Work It' in 2002.

Nicki has revealed that her still-untitled album will feature heavy production from Swizz Beatz. The Hype Williams-directed video for 'Your Love,' is set to premiere within the next few weeks. I hope she’s here for the long haul and just the “hype” haul.

MARTIN LAWRENCE & OTHER CELEB NUPTIALS

Martin Lawrence and his longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, were married in an intimate wedding his home in Beverly Hills.

Lawrence, 45, and Gibbs, 35, exchanged Christian vows in the backyard in front of 120 guests, including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. Their daughters Lyana, 9, and Ameria, 7, and Lawrence’s daughter Jasmine, 14, from a previous marriage were flower girls.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds joined their guests under a tent for a reception. “They wanted an intimate celebration,” says a source. “This wedding was all about family. Congrats also go to MTV VJ La La & NBA baller Carmelo Anthony as well as former Def Jam Executive Kevin Liles and his new wife Erika Jones.

Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon says he’s on a mission for a future collabo with Eminem. “I respect him as being one of the top elites in the game and I respect him as being a man, too. We [are] scheming and plotting,” he told XXL.

Eminem’s latest album “Recovery” features collaborations with Rihanna, Lil Wayne and Pink. It just scored its third week atop the Billboard 200.

***Comedian Wanda Sykes got two Emmy nominations for her HBO stand up "I’ma Be Me."

Her HBO special is nominated for both Outstanding Variety, Music, Comedy Special and Outstanding Writing in a Variety Music or Comedy Special.

Sykes receives the good news after she got word in May that both her shows "The Wanda Sykes Show" and her sitcom :The New Adventures of Old Christine" would not be renewed for another season. These nominations prove that when one door closes, another one opens!
