FAT JOE DENIES SEXUAL ASSAULT
Police in Madison, Wisconsin detained Terror Squad rapper Fat Joe after an unidentified 33-year-old woman told authorites that Joey Crack along with his entourage sexually assaulted her inside a Cadillac limo.

Here we go with more money, more problems: the woman claimed the incident happened after Joe’s performance at The Orpheum Theater June 21st.
Police reports say the 33 year old woman claims, "shortly after the concert had concluded ... [the woman] found herself inside of a Cadillac Limousine with Joseph Cartagena and other male subjects all with the destination of a hotel located on Madison's west side."
Fat Joe was detained, but he was not arrested. Although no arrests have been made, police say the investigation is still ongoing.
Well, ain’t this a hell of a way to start promoting a new album.
Word on the street is Will.i.am Black Eyed Peas' was reportedly robbed for over $10,000 in valuables earlier this week in California.
Will.i.am's ride got jacked in the Hollywood Hills. LAPD says bad guys broke into the rapper's Bentley and jacked over $10,000 worth of stuff.
TMZ has learned the Black Eyed Peas star made the shocking discovery himself and called the police to file a report. His objects included jewelry and several of the singer's personal items. We're told cops are hot on the trail of the bad guys -- and some of the stolen property has already been recovered.
On a lighter note, Will has been working with Kelis, who recently signed to him. “Kelis has always been a best kept secret," Will said in an interview. "The cool people know Kelis. But the majority of people just know 'Milkshake.'...I would like Kelis to show she's an international sensation. She can be big. A lot of people think big is being on the radio or that being big is having a show in London, France and sometimes Japan. But that ain't international...that's just three countries. The Black Eyed Peas are big; the Black Eyed Peas are international. I think Kelis can be that big. As big as the Peas. A lot of time rappers have these labels and they don't let their artist become bigger than them. I've proven that's not me. Fergie is huge. When Fergie blew up she was bigger than me! I believe Kelis can do the same."

Kelis has also given props to Will for elevating her music career over the years. "Will and I worked on my last album together, and I love the fact that -- a lot of producers don't know music. They might know the genre that they're doing, but he's great because he has a really vast knowledge of music," Kelis told MTV News about her new boss. "There's not a song you can mention or an era of music that you can mention that he doesn't know about or doesn't understand what made it that [successful]. I think that's the key in trying to do something fresh.”
Well looking forward to what this duo brings to the table.
NAS AGREES TO TERMS FOR KELIS MORTGAGE
No matter how mad you are, you can’t keep the mother of your child and your child out in the cold. Nas has agreed to pay tens-of-thousands of dollars in back mortgage payments for the house his ex-wife, Kelis, lives in.
Word is, Nas still owes his ex-wife almost $300,000 in spousal support.
Additionally, the rapper’s lawyer filed a payment plan with the court, so he could catch up on the late payments.
The rapper was past due $52,989.22 in monthly payments towards the home.
Nas will pay $17,500 up front and then double the payments of $7,800 each month until the mortgage on the home is current.
D'ANGELO ENDS SILENCE ON DISAPPEARANCE
D'Angelo has broken his silence after being absent from the music scene for the last ten years and confirmed speculation that a new album is in the works.
All I know if I see one more horrific mug shot or hear of some scandalous prostitute caper of any sex I’m gonna scream. D'Angelo said there exists a strong underground movement of artists.

"I think is out there, but there's a lot of folks, people in power, record executives or what have you, that are less willing to take chances on s**t that might be different," he explained in an interview. "But I think there's an underground bubbling up under. A lot of Black folks are trying to do different s**t or they wanna do different s**t. I don't know the condition of what's going on in the business right now, but they're having a hard time cracking through...I'm really just focusing on getting this album together...I just want them to know that I'm coming. That's all. I'm in the kitchen and I'm cooking up something real nice."
Word is, D’Angelo has his ass back in the gym with a personal trainer & hopefully ladies those abs with that delicious “V” will be back in effect.
D'Angelo is expected to collaborate with Prince on his long-awaited first new album since 2000, reportedly titled James River and due this summer from J Records. In a statement, his manager, Lindsay Guion, says D'Angelo will also team with Gnarls Barkley's Cee-Lo Green. Collaborations with Raphael Saadiq, Mark Ronson and Roy Hargrove are already in the bag.
