Spring will make its 2010 debut in less than a week. Not sure what to wear? Keep reading for some key trends this season.
I. Military. I swear military has been featured as a spring trend every other year since I first picked up fashion mags as a pre-teen in the early 90s. But hey, it's not really a trend if it keeps coming up, right? Time to name this baby a classic. This trend works on every age and size (although I'd go for less on the embellishments as you get older), but don't do head-to-toe military---you'll look like you're wearing a costume.

II. Prints. Much like its distant cousin, military, there's nothing new about prints, but this season take it up a notch with bright, bold prints. And if you really wanna show 'em, take it further and mix prints for a jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring fashion forward look. The key to successfully mixing prints is to stay in the same color family.
Be sure to wear your prints to scale with your frame (rule of thumb: the larger your frame, the larger the print).

III. Minimalism. Less is more with this trend which was also seen in the 90s. This time around the cuts are more feminine.

IV. Sporty. Perhaps it was the Olympics that was used for inspiration, but this season's sporty trend features form-fitting garments with a gaming edge. Leave the sneakers for the gym.
