*ALL YOU NEED IS ONE EGG...
*SEPARATE THE YOLK FROM THE WHITE (YOU CAN USE THE YOLK FOR SCRAMBLED EGGS) ...
*GENTLY APPLY TO FACE AVOID EYES AND MOUTH (IT'S NOT SO TASTY)...
* LEAVE ON FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES.. OR LONGER IF YOU LIKE THE WAY YOU LOOK...
*THEN RINSE OFF WITH WARM WATER... AND SPLASH WITH COLD WATER!

Ok dont be grossed out my people but this here is an old school bveauty secret passed down from Grandmother Shaw of Lowndes County, AL. For zits. At night put put a little bit of pee on a Qtip. Tap on zit. Gone in the morning. I DOUBT this will make the homepage - HEHAW - but hey YOU ASKED.

Vaseline has many fantastic uses. My favorite is helping me with my shoe game. If you have on heels that maybe a little uncomfortable, like the 4 1/2 inches I like to wear, just slick you foot down with Vaseline and it will help the leather expand and make the shoe a heck of a lot more comfortable.

It is also great to use when you run long distances in your sneakers to stop chaffing.

Just a bit of Makeup history for our fellow viZionaires...in the 1920's eyeshadow as we know it today had not been perfected at that time (although the Egyptians really had a grasp on the whole makeup thing) anyway, here in the United States women took their makeup and hair que's from the celebrities of the day i.e. Jean Harlow, Greta Garbo etc., etc. Well, those women used petrolium as eyeshadow along with the natural color of the skin on the eyelid. The gloss left from the petroleum left a glorious sheen creating a look of color and glamour.

Also, one man who's sister inspired him to create the first branded mascara was named Maybel and what this "mascara" was concocted of was wax and coal mixed and, was used with a stick across the eyelashes, to create fuller and darker lashes. It became all the rage along with newly invented "eyeliner" and he began to mass market this idea and named the product Maybellene after his beloved muse sister Maybel.

To answer the question: *Glossy Eyelids (learned it from Grandma who was a young woman in the 20's). Instead of petroleum aka. Vaseline, I use Rosebud Salve created in 1908 and still sold in the old fashioned tims they once came in. You can find it at Sephora. This solves the wrinkles around the eyes dilemma. Grandma died at 99 and had very little wrinkles believe it or not! ;-*

I stole this beauty secret from Johnny Wright. I have been using Vit E oil on my edges for the past month and I have to say...it works!! I do it 3 times a week and I have noticed that my hair is stronger and I don't see as much going down the drain when I wash my hair. The only thing that I don't love is that the oil is kinda sticky so when I use it I have to put my hair in a ponytail but heck for stronger roots I can live with it.
