GRRREAT topic! Yes Cali we are still dealing with that old stereo type and I think it stinks. I have built my career on natural hair. I think the hair the Heavens gave us is the hair we are meant to have. We need to celebrate that. It can start with us stylists. We need to stop pushing the chemicals and give our customers more natural hair options. Girl don't get me startedI

Yeah this is bull.
But we perpetuate it.
Tosha is right. The barbers and stylist can have a part in eradicating this notion.
I think it is an evil and destructive idea for people to embrace.

I agree Hair is hair. What God gave you is what you are supposed to have. We as stylist really do need to stop pushing chemicals on clients. We should be able to deal with all types of hair. I had several clients coming to me saying that other stylist suggested that they should get a relaxer. I would never do that to a client. Healthy hair is my main focuse; whether it's relaxed or natural.

Good hair is hair that is in good condition, strong elastisity, regular trims, not over processed....you feel me? Good hair has nothing to do with the texture, wave pattern or tightness of the curl. Good Hair is HEALTHY hair.

I think that good hair is healthy, strong soft hair.. whether it be natural or relaxed.
there is such a thing as bad hair... thats the polar opposite good hair..
bad hair is dry, damaged, broken, brittle, unhealthy.....

Good hair means, it must be long,healthy and black and the thikness should be good. Every body don't have good hair, so many people face hair problem and they dont get any sollution also.
